Director, Property Management

Jeanne Baker

Ms. Baker has more than 30 years of experience as a licensed realtor, including 15 years managing and marketing affordable senior communities. She is responsible for overseeing marketing and leasing for all the Alden Foundation developments and oversees property managers responsible for the Foundation’s affordable independent living communities. Ms. Baker also assists in identifying new sites for development.

Property Manager

Ellen Currie

Ms. Currie manages Bloomingdale Horizon Senior Living Community. Her responsibilities include helping prospective residents make the right choice in identifying a senior living community. She also assists current residents by planning and coordinating the facility’s full activities program. Ms. Currie has over 23 years of property management experience in the Chicago area and the northwest suburbs. The management of a senior living community comes naturally to Ms. Currie as she has always had a special place in her heart for older adults.

Maintenance Manager

Ed McKinley

Maintenance Manager Ed McKinley has nearly 40 years of maintenance experience and has owned his own painting business for the last 35 years. Ed is always ready, willing and able to do whatever it takes to meet the needs of Bloomingdale Horizon residents. In addition to his exemplary work ethic and dedication to maintaining the building, he has a sunny nature and positive attitude that has endeared him to residents and family members alike.
